Itinerary
Boarding begins at 16:00 at Bodrum Marina, where you will be warmly welcomed by our crew, guided through a quick safety briefing, and shown to your private en suite cabin. Once everyone is settled, we set sail toward Kara Ada (Black Island), leaving the bustling harbor behind. Your very first dip takes place in the mineral-rich thermal waters of the island, a refreshing welcome to the Turkish Riviera. As evening approaches, a delicious dinner is served on deck with breathtaking views of the sun setting over the iconic Bodrum Castle, followed by a calm first night at anchor under a star lit Aegean sky.
Our morning cruise follows the rugged Datça Peninsula toward ancient Knidos, a classical city dramatically situated at the meeting point of the Aegean and Mediterranean Seas. Step ashore to wander among marble ruins, ancient amphitheaters, and stone harbors that once hosted bustling trade routes. Afterward, we sail to Palamutbükü, famous for its long pebbled beach and remarkably clear water, providing the ultimate backdrop for afternoon swimming and snorkeling directly off the gulet. By late afternoon, we drop anchor at Datça Harbour, where you can spend a charming evening exploring old stone houses, local bougainvillea covered alleys, artisanal boutiques, and cozy waterfront tavernas.
Wake up to a scenic morning journey toward Bozukkale, historically known as ancient Loryma. Guarded by an impressive ancient citadel standing tall above the wide natural harbor, this secluded bay offers a fascinating glimpse into history. You can take a light hike up to the stone fortress for panoramic views across the turquoise coastline or simply enjoy the tranquil atmosphere from the deck. After a delicious freshly prepared lunch at anchor, we continue our eastward journey toward Kadırga Bay. Surrounded by serene hills, this protected inlet offers exceptionally smooth waters for late afternoon swimming, relaxing on deck, and another peaceful evening dining under the stars.
Start your morning with a quiet swim in the crystal clear waters of Kumlubük Bay, followed by a peaceful breakfast on deck. Guests interested in a bit of exploration can join an optional short trek up to the ancient ruins of Amos, which rewards hikers with sweeping views across the bay. In the afternoon, we cruise toward Cennet Adası (Paradise Island), a pine scented anchorage perfect for soaking up the sun, swimming, or reading in the shade. As the afternoon fades, we berth in Marmaris Marina. You will have plenty of time to explore Marmaris Castle, lose yourself in the winding streets of the old town, sample fresh seafood at the waterfront, or enjoy the town's lively evening energy.
We set sail early for Ekincik Bay, a vast and peaceful inlet framed by dense pine forests. The crystal clear, calm waters make it an absolute paradise for morning paddleboarding, snorkeling, or lounging on the deck. For those seeking adventure, an optional riverboat excursion takes you through the reed covered channels of the Dalyan Delta toward Iztuzu Beach (Turtle Beach), a protected nesting site for Loggerhead sea turtles. Along the way, you will marvel at the ancient Lycian rock tombs carved high into the sheer river cliffs and have the chance to visit the region's famous therapeutic mud baths. We gather back on the gulet in Ekincik for a relaxing dinner as twilight settles over the forested hills.
Today is entirely dedicated to exploring the world renowned island paradise of Göcek. We begin our island hopping at Tersane (Shipyard) Island, swimming among submerged ancient stone ruins that line the shore. Next, we cruise to the famous Bedri Rahmi Bay, named after the famous Turkish painter who left a fish motif painted on a rock face during a blue cruise in the 1970s. In the afternoon, dive into the turquoise waters of Cleopatra’s Bath (Hamam Bay) to swim directly over partially sunken Roman bath structures. By late afternoon, we dock near the stylish town of Göcek, offering you the chance to stroll along its famous marina, visit boutique shops, and enjoy authentic local mezes in a relaxed atmosphere.
Our final full day on the water takes us into the magnificent Gulf of Fethiye. Our primary stop is Tarzan Bay, named for the rope swings hanging from the coastal trees into the deep cobalt blue water. It is a fun, memorable location for a final swim, cliff jumping, and capturing beautiful travel photos. In the afternoon, we make our way into Fethiye Marina. The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at a relaxed pace explore the old town of Paspatur, shop for local spices and carpets in the bazaar, or enjoy an unforgettable final dinner at a seaside restaurant listening to the gentle sound of the waves.
Enjoy a final group breakfast on deck followed by traditional Turkish coffee as you bid farewell to your fellow travelers and our attentive crew. Disembarkation takes place at Fethiye Harbour around 09:00. Boutique Format: Operated on a classic Turkish wooden gulet with a maximum of 16 guests, ensuring personalized service and ample deck space. Every cabin features a private en-suite bathroom.
Overnight Comfort: Full-night air conditioning is available across all en-suite cabins, subject to environmental standards and local marina guidelines.
Adaptive Routing: To guarantee a smooth and safe Sail Turkey experience, our captain may fine-tune daily anchorages based on sea conditions and weather.
Mobility & Access: Embarkation occurs via marina pontoons, and swim stops are enjoyed directly from the yacht. A moderate level of physical mobility is recommended.
Optional Activities: Daily excursions, such as the Dalyan Delta boat tour, are optional and can be booked locally on deck.
Luggage & Clothing: Soft-sided duffel bags or collapsible suitcases are highly recommended, as hard-shell cases can be difficult to store in compact cabin spaces. Footwear & Towels: Guests typically go barefoot onboard, though non-slip deck shoes or sandals are useful for moving around comfortably. Cabin bath towels are provided, but please bring your own beach towel for swim stops.
Bar Service & Payments: Drinks from the onboard bar are tallied throughout the week and settled at the end of your cruise. You do not need to carry large amounts of cash onboard; guests usually settle their tab using local ATMs in Bodrum or Fethiye at disembarkation.
Connectivity & Unplugging: While mobile signal is accessible along most of the coastline and in port towns, Wi-Fi should not be relied upon while cruising at sea. We encourage guests to use this journey as an opportunity to disconnect and unwind.
Smooth Sailing: The Bodrum to Fethiye sailing route travels largely through sheltered coastal waters, making it ideal even for first-time cruisers. If you are sensitive to motion, bringing standard travel medication is always a good precaution.

It's my second year doing a sailing cruise with Gulet Cruises and I absolutely love it!
The crew is always very good, the food is to die for, the cabins are very clean and large enough if you have to share with someone. There are different spaces where you can relax or sunbathe on the boat, the stops in the different bays are always beautiful and you can go on the land for short excursions in cute villages or climb a hill for a sunset!
Already looking forward to my 3rd trip next year!
