A round trip sailing tour from Fethiye Harbour allows guests to explore the entire Lycian Coast including Ölüdeniz, Butterfly Valley, Kaş, and the Kekova Sunken City without the need for long land transfers at the end of the trip. Returning to Fethiye simplifies flight connections via Dalaman Airport.
Because Kekova is a protected archaeological zone, swimming directly over the 2nd century submerged ruins is prohibited by Turkish maritime law. However, our gulet cruises slowly right alongside the ancient foundations for close up viewing, and dedicated swim stops are scheduled in nearby coves like Tersane Bay and Kaleköy.
Every vessel is equipped with stand-up paddleboards, snorkeling masks and fins, and sea kayaks. Guests can explore mirror clear coves independently during daily swim stops in spots like Aquarium Bay and Gökkaya Bay.
If your ideal getaway blends sunrise dips in crystal clear bays, wandering through cliffside Lycian ruins, and taking in glowing sunsets from a gulet deck, this Fethiye to Kekova sailing route is made for you.
Designed for travelers seeking the perfect mix of coastal discovery and relaxed social vibes, this voyage offers a rich itinerary: optional tandem paragliding over Ölüdeniz, snorkeling and diving around Kaş, and memorable evenings anchored in serene coves all paired with the comfort of private en-suite cabins and full night air conditioning. No previous sailing background is required; simply bring an enthusiasm for open water living, outdoor adventure, and boutique Mediterranean comfort.
Boutique Format: Hosted on a classical wooden gulet capped at just 16 guests, guaranteeing ample deck space and a peaceful onboard atmosphere.
Overnight Climate Control: Enjoy continuous full-night air conditioning across all en-suite cabins for complete rest after a sun-soaked day.
Adaptive Navigation: To prioritize guest safety and comfort, the captain may fine-tune daily anchorages or timing based on weather and sea conditions.
Protected Heritage Site: Swimming directly above the submerged ruins at the Sunken City of Kekova is restricted by law to preserve the site, but nearby swimming stops in crystal-clear waters are fully included.
Optional Activities: Onshore excursions such as scuba diving in Kaş, paragliding over Ölüdeniz, and cultural visits to ancient Myra are optional and arranged locally.
Mobility & Access: Embarkation occurs via marina pontoons or small dinghy transfers, and swim stops are made directly from the vessel; a moderate level of physical mobility is recommended.
Luggage & Packing: Cabin storage is compact and optimized for soft-sided duffel bags or backpacks. Hard-shell suitcases can be challenging to store onboard.
Sun Protection & Attire: High-factor sunscreen, polarized sunglasses, and sun hats are essential for daytime cruising. Pack lightweight summer wear, plenty of swimwear, and a light jacket for cooler evening breezes. Reusable water bottles are also strongly encouraged.
Footwear & Deck Etiquette: Life onboard is predominantly barefoot. Non-slip sandals or deck shoes are useful for moving around safely or taking short dinghy rides ashore.
Bar Tab & Payments: Drinks purchased from the onboard bar are tallied throughout the week and settled at the conclusion of your cruise. Most guests conveniently use ATMs in Fethiye to settle their tab prior to disembarkation, eliminating the need to carry excess cash.
Disconnecting at Sea: Signal is reliable near main ports like Kaş and Fethiye, but naturally fades in secluded coves. View this Sail Turkey experience as an ideal opportunity to unplug and unwind.
Smooth Coastal Waters: Navigating largely through sheltered bays and gulfs, this itinerary offers smooth sailing conditions ideal for first-time cruisers. Standard travel remedies are still advisable if you are prone to motion sensitivity.

It's my second year doing a sailing cruise with Gulet Cruises and I absolutely love it!
The crew is always very good, the food is to die for, the cabins are very clean and large enough if you have to share with someone. There are different spaces where you can relax or sunbathe on the boat, the stops in the different bays are always beautiful and you can go on the land for short excursions in cute villages or climb a hill for a sunset!
Already looking forward to my 3rd trip next year!
